Burton in Kendal :


An ancient parish, Lonsdale ward, Westmorland.
Burton in Kendal, St. James, dates from the 12th century and is Norman is style, changed through the centuries with the last refurbishment in 1871.
Holme, Holy Trinity, built 1839.
Preston Patrick, St. Patrick, Preston Patrick is divided from Burton though is one parish, formerly dedicated to St Gregory it is believed the church was built as a chapel in about 1450 but it was replaced by the church in 1852. Further work was carried out in 1892.
