Uldale :


An ancient parish in Allerdale below Derwent Ward, Cumberland.
St. James dates from about 1150 though it was extensively rebuilt in 1730 and again in 1837. There used to be another church St. Johns built in 1868 but this became unsafe and was demolished in 1963.
