  An ancient parish, West ward, Westmorland.
  Barton, St. Michael, A 12th century church, extended in the 13th and 14th centuries.
  Martindale, St Peter, Built in 1880 but this is the new church, the old church about half a mile away goes back to at least 1220.
  Patterdale, St. Patrick, Current Church Built 1853 but there are references to it as early as 1581. Parish Registers available at http://www.patterdaletoday.co.uk/history
  Pooley Bridge, St. Paul, Built 1868
