Stanwix

An ancient parish in Eskdale Ward, Cumberland.
St. Michael was built in 1841, though there has been a church on this site since the time of Henry I (1100-1135).
St.John the Evangelist built around 1840 is at Houghton and St. Peter is at Kingmoor and is a 20th Century Church.
