Newton Reigny

    An ancient parish, Leath Ward, Cumberland. Named after the De Reigny family who held the manor in the time o f Henry II and probably came over with William the Conqueror.
    St John’s Newton Reigny predates the 11th century though the current building was renovated in 1875 and 1891.
