Ancient parish in Eskdale Ward, Cumberland, comprising the townships of Irthington, Laversdale, Newby & Newtown.
The medieval church of St. Kentigern is of 12th Century origin, though it was renovated around 1850 and had further renovations and a tower added in around 1896.
