Beckermet

ancient parish in Allerdale Above Derwent ward, Cumberland. There are actually two parishes St.John and St.Bridget.
St John, was rebuilt in 1810 but a church has existed here at least after the 13th Century.
St Bridget is a much older church and built on the site of a 7th century monastery.
