A township in Aspatria parish, Allerdale Below Derwent ward, Cumberland, which became an Urban District in 1894.
Aspatria, St Kentigern, originally a 6th century wooden church, replaced pre-Norman times with a stone building, though little is know of it. It was replaced in 1846 with the current church.
Hayton, St. James was built in 1867.
