Addingham

Addingham is not a township but it is a parish with the church being in the township of Glassonby, the main townships in Addingham parish are Gamblesby and Little Salkeld, in Leath ward, Cumberland. The actual village of Addingham was swept away when the River Eden changed course in 1160.
There has been a church here since at least 1272 though the current St. Michael’s church was possibly rebuilt around 1704.
St. John’s was built in 1868 but was decommissioned in 2010.
