Two good ones there Geoff - I bumped into Cliff when we stayed on the Algarve many moons ago - he was with another two men having dinner in a local restaurant, well off the beaten track.  Cool

Hi Geoff
I hope everything went well with "the boy's" marriage.

After paying our daughter's Uni fees and also half mortgage fees for where she was living with her partner for 4 years, she then was offered a 4 year PhD in microbiology.  She will finish next year.

I would think that we will also have to pay up and look happy with her marriage to her partner next year.  These marriages ain't cheap are they - maybe I should just tell her to take off to Gretna Green (she lives in Edinburgh) to get married, but at the same time I want to be there to witness the marriage. Smiley.

Hi Geoff,

You missed an opportunity to have a go at a certain someone out in Penrith on a Saturday night many years ago.

http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=k5FG3Ty3jD4&feature=related

You may have to type in URL yourself, bit of a problem copy & pasting here.

Hi Ken

I don't "have a go" at people Smiley

If we're thinking of the same person, I think they went to the bright lights of Carlisle on a "Sat'dy neet" where the Black Velvet (economy version) flowed.

Here's your song http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=k5FG3Ty3jD4
or a later version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tu47Bm2Agdk

I think the exclamation mark in the URL was the problem Huh
