This site and notice board is provided to help members in their quest for details of their Family History. Please feel free to use it and post your details. Whilst this welcome area is viewable by Guests, you will need to register in order to be able to post notices and read the majority of the posts in the registered member areas.

As the site and particularly the forum has input from non members, nothing on this site should be taken to be the policy or opinion of the Society and opinions and articles appearing on this site are the sole responsibility of the poster and the society takes no responsibility for any of the content on this site not provided by them.

You do not need to be a member of the Society to use this site or to register on this notice board, registration is simply to prevent unwanted spam and other distasteful messages appearing on the board. Though there are sections of this site which are available to CFHS members only, notably the sections with past issues of the newsletter and the pedigree interests of members of the CFHS, it is necessary to upgrade your status to see the member area. There is therefore no direct connection between being a member of the Society directly or a member of this site.

Despite the fact that much of this site is freely accessible by non members you are encouraged to apply for full membership of the Society, there is a newsletter published with a great number of details for the researcher as well as sections for contact with other people searching for your names.
