Password problems
«
on:
September 15, 2009, 06:29:07 pm »
I have written down my user name and password exactly as I entered it originally, but each time I try to log onto the forum, my password is not recognised, and I have to go through the forgotten password procedure. I don't have this problem on any other forum/website.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to resolve the problem?

Is the fourth letter of your user name correct? Pardon me for asking, but it does look a bit odd

I do not have access to passwords so I can not tell what your password is. However from the log I can see you are trying to sign in as annie. There are two problems here the name you have registered is Annle (that fourth character is a lower case L not an i) plus you must use your name exactly as registered that is with a Capital A at the beginning.
If you wish to change your user name I can do that, but not to Annie as that is already taken by someone else.

Oops!!!!!!!! Think I need my specs changing
I mis-typed my user name when I joined the forum, exactly as you say - but hadn't noticed. Logged in perfectly well once you pointed that out. Think I'll keep it now. Thanks for the help.
